Ricky is a Civil, Water Resources, and Environmental Engineer with over 30 years’ experience, having delivered more than 500 projects in water resources, flood and floodplain management, hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, river erosion and sediment transport, hydraulic structures, civil engineering, and detailed design.

Ricky’s work spans water engineering, mining, environmental impact assessments, transport and highway projects, and international assignments for AUSAID, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and private industry. Ricky has led multidisciplinary teams, published technical papers, served as a peer reviewer for the ASCE Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, and taught at the University of Technology and the University of Auckland.

Ricky has also prepared expert evidence for Land and Environment and Supreme Court hearings across multiple Australian jurisdictions. Ricky’s international experience includes projects in Australia, New Zealand, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand/Laos, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea.
