Wilson Creek Rehabilitation

Working closely with Fairfield City Council, investigations and detailed design of Wilson Creek at Bonnyrigg Heights were undertaken to address Council's concern on rapid deepening and widening of the creek due to recent developments.

Rehabilitation designs were undertaken to stabilize the creek bed and banks.  Collaborate with Sydney Water ensured all of their assets within the site boundary remain protected.  This included concrete encasing all exposed sewer pipes along and across the creek.

The project included detailed hydrology and hydraulic modelling of Wilson Creek using XP-RAFTS and TUFLOW software, to ensure that no private property is flood affected due to implementation of the proposed works for flood events up to 1% AEP event.
